Alone

It is funny how on a holiday you can feel so alone. Most of us come home each night, and watch TV till we go to bed. We interact rarely with the ones we claim to love, and stare at the walls of a pale grey cubicle all day. It never ceases to amaze me that we can be constantly surrounded by things and people, and yet be so isolated. Communication is the one thing that all of us are looking for, but none of us seem to find. The things we do by thier very nature drive us away from one another, but we don't change. How is it we can be so far away from what life was really meant to be.

Family

Today as I was walking along, there was a furious wind blowing. It had been snowing early in the day, and the wind was wintery, and chill. The leaves on the ground were crisp, with autumn colours, and the day was nostalgic. As I walked along, I thought about all the wonderful things in my life. Children who love me, a wife who loves me as well. Sometimes the things in life that seem to be just every day occourances are really what gives us the greatest sence of being and belonging. Oftentimes, it is such a part of our lives, if we are not careful we will overlook it all together.
